From what little I know about geology, I think that fossilized
honeycomb is exceptionally rare. If you know, I would appreciate it if
you'd
let me know.
I entitled this picture "Determination" because I can't think
of anything that epitomizes this more than a tree root growing straight through
a rock! As you can see, the main root is skewered through the rock near
its center, while a smaller offshoot penetrates at an oblique angle.
